Bible Journaling .... Jotting a new way

Recently, thanks to my niece Kaitlyn asking for a Journaling Bible for Christmas, I got into bible journaling. It is a neat way to get into reading the Bible and drawing or doodling what comes to mind or way to help you remember what you read. I have never been one to just sit down and read the Bible but since I have started journaling I can't seem to get enough of it. 
Here are few things I have worked on, drawing inspiration from the wonderful FB groups and Instagram and Pinterest searches. I have always loved to draw and paint but I can only put up so many painted canvases on my walls. This is a perfect outlet for me. #illustratedfaith #biblejournalingcommunity #documentedfaith 

The above entry was one of the first things I drew on paper but took me about 2 weeks to finally put in my Bible. Amazing Grace was my dad's favorite hymn. 
These are some of my favorite entries. 
All have been created with Crayola Twistable Colored pencils and Staedler pens. The pens cause shadowing on back page but no bleed through. 
Can't wait to see where this takes me in His word.

Still Bible Journaling...just bad at blogging

Well it has been forever since I have posted....but not forever since I have journaled in my Bible. I try to do something at least once a week. Would love to do more....but with work and two boys.... I am lucky to do it that much. I love being a part of the Bible Journaling community. I would love to be a part of a design team...one of my wishes. Wow.... Another 6 months have passed

Well... I started this blog along time ago in hopes that I would write more. About what remains to be seen. Back in January I deleted the little that I had written about. As you can see since my last post I still have not had much to say. Wait, let me rephrase. I always have something to say. Just no time or energy to say it. I say quite a bit on Facebook and follow a lot of people on Twitter. Now that I have the app on my phone... Who knows.... I jot some more thoughts. Well, til the next time. Too tired tonight to say more. Not sure what my focus will be on this blog. Family, school, EC and/or technology.... Hmmm may just be all if the above. Found some of my writing from junior high and high school. May have to post those. Anyway. See you later.

What's up?
