Jeanna's Bible Journaling

Recently, thanks to my niece Kaitlyn asking for a Journaling Bible for Christmas, I got into bible journaling. It is a neat way to get into reading the Bible and drawing or doodling what comes to mind or way to help you remember what you read. I have never been one to just sit down and read the Bible but since I have started journaling I can't seem to get enough of it.  Here are few things I have worked on, drawing inspiration from the wonderful FB groups and Instagram and Pinterest searches. I have always loved to draw and paint but I can only put up so many painted canvases on my walls. Again - many months have passed since my last post. Still busy as usual - with 2 boys - who isn't? I did not mention this in my last post - but it has been a little over a year since my Mom passed. Nasty Alzheimer's is the devil. It was hard to watch such a strong, independent woman fall ill to that slow death of a disease. There are many times that I miss her - the part of her before the disease. The time we had with her was too short. My boys only remember her in the bed. They see some pictures of her but never got to know the funny, witty, spirited, beautiful woman she was. I miss that for them.  The house is a wreck - I am not motivated to clean it up or get rid of things. I need to go through and organize and toss out stuff from my mom's house. But I can't...just can't. You can only house so many things from your past - but I don't want to get rid of them, yet not sure what to do with them. I still have Christmas stuff out.. at least not outside... but no...

Can't believe another year has come and gone since the last post. Right after that post I had an interview to become a Curriculum and Technology Coordinator - well I took the job. After being an EC Teacher for 16 years and ever increasing stress and paperwork.... it was time for a change. It also helps that my sweet hubby does the same thing and now we have LOTS to talk about. Still has not given me time to blog - but I am on the computer A LOT! Just not blogging. As far as this blog - still not sure what the focus is - or even if there has to be. Just my jotting spot - when I have the time or a thought to share. I have the app on my phone - just got to remember it is there and I can share my thoughts more readily from anywhere. Since the change of jobs and places (I am at Burns Middle) - it has been great. It is a different kind of stress - but still one that is easier to handle than the EC world. I have a lot of thoughts about all those legislatures who passed the sorry excuse...

Well... I started this blog along time ago in hopes that I would write more. About what remains to be seen. Back in January I deleted the little that I had written about. As you can see since my last post I still have not had much to say. Wait, let me rephrase. I always have something to say. Just no time or energy to say it. I say quite a bit on Facebook and follow a lot of people on Twitter. Now that I have the app on my phone... Who knows.... I jot some more thoughts. Well, til the next time. Too tired tonight to say more. Not sure what my focus will be on this blog. Family, school, EC and/or technology.... Hmmm may just be all if the above. Found some of my writing from junior high and high school. May have to post those. Anyway. See you later.

This is a test to see if my spot still works....not much to say at the moment - but maybe later - when I have time....oh right - I have a 3 and 5 year old - and boys at that - One day I will be back - probably when they are in college.

Well I found this link in my ASU online environment and thought I would go ahead and start a blog. Not sure at this point how much I will post here since I have a 14 week old baby boy. Well gotta get him ready for bed.
